Ultracompost Profit Depends on Two Supply Queues

Making ultracompost looks like a one-step conversion, but the session is really controlled by two markets. Each unit needs one supercompost and two volcanic ash. A player who buys enough of only one input has not funded a usable batch.

The reviewed route withdraws 27 supercompost with a stack of ash, processes the inventory, and banks the finished ultracompost. Its reference cadence is about 36 seconds for 27 items. That pace is useful as a ceiling, not a promise; banking rhythm and attention decide how much of it survives in play.

At the price check I ran on September 4, the model showed about 429,165–530,145 GP per hour and roughly 118,800 GP for the sampled working batch. Those numbers already assume instant-buy inputs and instant-sell outputs after Grand Exchange tax. A guide price can tell a very different story.

Before committing cash, I would price a small set of both ingredients, make one inventory, and sell the output. Then I would compare the realised cost per ultracompost with the realised sale proceeds. If either input fills slowly, the attractive hourly figure is not yet available to that account.

The OSRS early game money-making finder is helpful here because it puts the cash requirement beside the live range. Treat that display as a screening tool, then let a completed test batch decide whether to continue.
